I purchased a Clear Touch Anti-Glare screen cover from BoxWave (via Amazon.com). It’s for my iPaq RX1955 Pocket PC, and is now installed on my device. Here are my initial impressions about the product.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Fits my screen perfectly
- Came with an applicator to help smooth out air bubbles
- Came with a lint-free cleaning cloth
- Makes a noticeable difference in writing on the screen
Cons:
- It makes the text of my ebooks a bit blurry
- Diffcult to peel off again (I’ve tried, but haven’t succeeded yet)
As you can see, the good points heavily outweigh the bad for this product. But the problem for me is that I primarily use my PDA for reading ebooks. If this screen cover makes things harder on my eyes, then it’s not going to be worth it for me in the long run. I’m going to try it out for a few more days to see if I can get used to it. If not, I’m just going to take it off. It’s easier to replace a PDA than my eyes, know what I mean?
