I just got done watching the CSI episode from Thursday. It was the tenth episode of the season and it was called “Loco Motives.” This one finally put an end to the mystery of who was leaving those miniature murder scene scale models, and on the whole wasn’t a bad ep.
First of all, we’re back to having two separate storylines on CSI, which I have to say I like a lot better than focusing on a single murder. Anyway, I thought the “B” plot involving the sad-sack guy who couldn’t catch a break was much better than the scale model murder mystery. That one was very well done and was pretty funny at times.
The scale model murderer revelation was a bit of a letdown, if you ask me. The writers were really building that up to be something interesting… a true sicko serial killer or whatever. But it just turned out to be a guy that was wronged somewhere along the line and who felt this was his only way to get revenge. They didn’t even explain the connections very well… I got the rock star connection, and guess the old lady was an ex-lover who scorned the guy. But I missed the reason that he took out his co-worker.
Anyway, not a bad episode. Check it out if you’ve got it on TiVo!
