I’ve mentioned before in this blog about how I recenlty got on the PDA bandwagon. I know these things have been around for a long, long time, but I just never felt that I needed one until recently. I can’t believe what I was missing out on! Now I never leave home without my PDA and can’t imagine what I’d do without it.
Of course a brand-new entry-level PDA doesn’t come with many programs on it, so you’re going to want to load it up with a bunch of freeware. The absolute best place to get this stuff is from a site called PDAgold.com. I found PDAgold when I was looking for a media player that could handle .avi files. Ever since then, I’ve been going back and browsing through all the other programs that PDAgold offers. I’ve discovered some great ones, including the Mu Book Reader, which I use constantly, a shopping list program, a metric/standard conversion program, an astronomy chart, and numerous games.
I’ve never had a problem with viruses or anything like that so far, but you should still perform a quick scan before you run an .exe file. Everyone knows that, right?
Anyway, if you have a Pocket PC, you’ll love this site. Check out PDAgold.com right now!
