I thought there were LONG parts of the show as well, but I was still laughing hysterically throughout. Jeff Foxworthy was a questionable choice as "mc" but in the end I found he was a great "straight man" and his dry humor was perfect! I'm sorry you didn't like it--but I will definitely be Tivo-ing it for awhile!

*I still not sure why the contestants don't take the 5th grade answers first while they can still get the help from the 5th grader. Save the "easy" ones till they have no help!

[...] Since I have been watching American Idol, I have been tuning into the show that follows it - Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? I was pleased to find a review on this very show! J.E. hits the nail right on the head - the contestants are definitely not brainiacs and the pace of the show is so incredibly slow! I could not just set there and watch it without flipping the channels between questions! This will not be a long lived show. [...]
