I learned a long time ago that it’s critical to my financial health to use credit wisely. I am now in the habit of paying off my credit card bill in full every month or taking advantage of 0% balance transfers when necessary in order not to get hit with interest charges. I’m doing pretty well in this regard and haven’t paid a cent in interest over the last 7 years.
Unfortunately, a lot of people aren’t as careful about using their credit cards as they should be, and as a result, they soon find themselves buried under a mountain of debt. This can lead to a great deal of anxiety and worry as they try to figure out how to get back on their feet again. Obviously, you don’t want to get trapped in this kind of situation, so I recommend that you use your credit sensibly. If you find that you absolutely cannot live without credit cards, then you should probably check out some 0% credit cards so that you at least don’t end up throwing money away on interest.
It’s definitely possible to use credit cards wisely, but I think the best-case scenario would be to spend only the money that you have on hand. That way you’ll never have to worry about how you can pay off your credit card bills — and trust me, that peace of mind is golden!
