I’ve spent a lot of time in Japan and one of the customs I’ve adopted from that culture is the whole ritual of taking a bath every day instead of a shower. I have a state-of-the-art bathtub with a control panel that allows me to set both the water level and temperature, and I think it’s the greatest thing in the world! There’s nothing like soaking in a 110 degree bath to unwind at the end of a long day.
Another thing I like to do is buy special products to use with my bath. For example, I’m always looking for new bath oil, bubble bath, and soap to try out. Over the past year or so, I’ve fallen in love with handmade soaps and now rarely use anything else. I recently heard about a website called RememberMaui.com that sells handmade soap made in Maui with Kukui Nut Oil. I think that sounds wonderful and really want to give it a try soon. I’m sure the product will be as soothing and refreshing as the description makes it sound, so I definitely need to order up a couple of bars as soon as my current soap supply runs out!
