One of the things I’ve been wanting to do is promote this particular blog a lot more. I want to do everything possible to increase my Google page rank and decrease my Alexa score, but I keep putting this task off because I simply don’t have time to attend to all the marketing activities that would help me achieve my goals.
That’s why I’ve been thinking about taking a different approach. Instead of doing all the grunt work myself, I’m leaning towards submitting my blog to various bid web sites to get even better results in a shorter period of time. I’m talking about paid directories like BigWebLinks.com where sites with the highest bids get the best placement. If I bid high enough, I could end up on the very first page of the directory, which would result in mad hits for my site. Plus, the BigWebLinks.com index page has a PR of 7, so if my site is listed there, I’d definitely get some “PR juice” flowing my way.
I’ve got the money to do this — now it’s just a matter of getting over to BigWebLinks.com to place a few bids. See you at the top!
