High School Musical 3: Senior Year proved that last weekend’s box office win was no fluke, as the teen musical fended off the competition to retain cinematic bragging rights once again. This time the Zac Efron-Vanessa Hudgens-Ashley Tisdale film took in another $15 million, bringing its total gross to $61.8 million and proving that Disney execs were right in believing that people would pay to watch this movie after having the previous two installments available on cable.

Second place went to the new Kevin Smith comedy Zack and Miri Make a Porno. Starring Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as friends who decide to earn some quick cash by making a porno, the film earned a disappointing $10.7 million over the weekend. Maybe people are tired of seeing Seth Rogen coupled with women who are CLEARLY out of his league… first Katherine Heigl and now Elizabeth Banks? Yeah, right.

Other new entries to crack the list include Changeling ($9.41 million, 4th place) and The Haunting of Molly Hartley ($6.01 million, 5th place).
