Holiday comedy Four Christmases held onto the top spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row, earning another $18.2 million to raise its two-week gross to a healthy $70.8 million. Despite generally bad reviews, the Vince Vaughn-Reese Witherspoon project managed to fend off vampire romance Twilight once again. That film racked up $13.2 million in ticket sales, and has now earned a whopping $139 million at the North American box office.
Only two new films made it into the top 10 this weekend, with Punisher: War Zone generating a paltry $4 million in revenue, and Cadillac Records pulling down an even more anemic $3.5 million. Dropping out off the list was the Sean Penn film Milk.
