What’s with all of these video games being made into movies? I mean, seriously, what’s the point? My husband liked the Hitman video games well enough, and even I thought they seemed kind of cool (albeit extremely violent). But is there really enough material for a movie in there?
I tried watching the 2007 film version with my husband last night, but I got so bored with it that I gave up after just 20 minutes. I didn’t understand anything about it, from the background to the agent’s purpose. What was will all those kids getting barcodes stamped on their heads? Are there other people out there with barcode scanners, keeping track of them? And what’s so special about Agent 47? Why is he singled out from everyone else?
Maybe I’d get the answers to these questions if I actually watch the whole movie, but I can’t imagine sitting through a couple hours of that drivel. This seemed like as much of a disaster as Max Payne!
