Entourage 6×05 — “Fore”: Last night’s episode of Entourage was called “Fore”, and while it didn’t do much to move the season-long story arcs along, I thought it was a fun standalone. It was enjoyable, had great guest stars, and went back to giving viewers a glimpse at life as a Hollywood celeb.
– I thought Tom Brady and Mark Wahlberg were excellent in their roles! Obviously Wahlberg is a strong actor, so it was no surprise seeing him do well, but Brady was another matter altogether. I expected him to be wooden at best, but he turned out to be very good. I enjoyed all the banter from their golf foursome and thought it was hilarious that Turtle went from wanting to tell Brady he sucked balls to going over to his house for dinner!
– Ashley is by far the most annoying character on the show now. She bugs me more than Eric does, which is quite a feat. WTF was up with her “should I stay over? Do you want me to stay over? Well, I’m not going to stay over because you’re not enthusiastic enough about it.” God, what is she, 15? Grow up! I cannot believe that Eric of all people puts up with that crap. That’s something Turtle would do.
– I thought Ari’s interactions with Jeffrey Tambor were funny. I love it when he has to pander to these clients that he obviously can’t stand because Piven is great at showing that he’s boiling just under the surface. And then there’s always Lloyd to take out his frustrations on… Attacking him with the golf club was hilarious! Plus, the Tambor scenes just go to show how much Ari genuinely likes Vince and the gang.
– So it would be perfectly fine if Ari recommended E for Murray’s job opening, but it’s totally not OK if Sloane does it? How does that make sense?? Either way, Eric would not be getting the interview based on his own merits. I hope his false pride comes back to bite him in the ass. And he is Vince’s bitch, so there!
