entourage-title-card Entourage 6×08 — “The Sorkin Notes”: I’m a day late posting about Entourage this week because I didn’t have a chance to watch the show on Sunday night as usual and had to grab it off TiVo instead. It turns out that I didn’t miss much at all, as we had another episode where most of the focus was on minor characters such as Andrew Kline and Ashley/Sloane.

– See what I mean about Eric and Ashley’s relationship being like something out of high school? And Sloane is not that much better either. All three of them are like teenagers with their let’s be friends, I can’t be just friends, are you still talking to her, what’s this message, are you seeing someone, I need some time to figure this out… WTF does this need to be hashed out in the exact same way week in and week out? This crap is starting to feel like Meredith and Derek on Grey’s frickin’ Anatomy.

– Andrew driving through his living room window was totally insane. This guy is all kinds of unbalanced, which makes me wonder what the hell Ari sees in him. Sure, they go back a long way, but Andrew is a total loser. Ari has crazy moments too, but at least we know that there’s a high level of competency there as well. Andrew… acts like Ari’s retarded cousin or something.

– This Vince stalker storyline is boring. Unless the writers decide to put his life in real danger on this show, then I don’t see the point. This kid whose driver’s license they found (what was his name, Carson Tucker or something?) better end up being a loose cannon instead of some star-struck autograph seeker. I notice they made him from a hunting state like Wisconsin. Maybe that’s a good sign that this subplot will actually lead somewhere.

– I hate the fact that the Autumn Reeser character is being portrayed as a bitch. Can’t they have competent women on the show? They’re either manipulative, game-playing whiners like Ashley and Sloane, or shrewish, screaming bitches like Mrs. Ari, Andrew’s wife, and Babs. I swear, Jamie-Lynn Sigler is the only normal female there!
