I agree with you about Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs -- both were excellent. I even liked Jackie Brown and the first half of From Dusk Til Dawn. But Basterds was just awful!! I'm a huge Tarantino fan. I think Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were absolute masterpieces. I loved From Dusk til Dawn. Unfortunately, Tarantino started a downward spiral from Kill Bill on. Those films were lackluster. Actually, they were downright weird. I was really looking forward to Inglourious Basterds due to all of the hype. I got through the boring beginning and still had high hopes. I made it to the 90 minute mark and then did something I never ever dreamed I would do during a Tarantino flick - I walked out of the theatre, disgusted! You're right. It was horrible.
