If you read this blog regularly, then you know one of my favorite new television shows is Castle. I simply love the lead actors, Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic, and think the show is genuinely entertaining. Castle and Beckett have all kinds of chemistry with each other, and their flirty moments are usually very well written. The murder-of-the-week storylines are pretty good, too, but let’s face it: I don’t watch this for the procedural aspects. This is very much a character-driven show — and the characters are awesome!
Anyway, I would love to own the Castle Season One DVDs so I can relive all the great moments from last year. The DVD set contains three discs that feature all 10 episodes from the first season (it was a midyear replacement show, which is why they didn’t produce the standard 22-24 eps), plus a few bonuses like a behind-the-scenes interview with creator Andrew W. Marlowe.
The Castle Season One DVDs are on sale at Buy.com for just $23.87. That’s not a bad price at all, and with Christmas coming up, I’m entitled to splurge a bit on myself, right? Or maybe I’ll print this post out for my husband to make holiday gift shopping a little easier on him! Either way, I’m sure I’ll have these Castle DVDs by the time December 25 rolls around!
