House 6×10 — “Wilson”: I don’t really consider myself a Wilson fan. The character just hasn’t been the same since Amber died, which is such a shame because he used to be awesome. As a result, I didn’t care much for this episode at all. Wilson is ok in small doses, but isn’t really someone to build an entire episode around, ya know?

That being said, I have to admit that I enjoyed getting outside glimpses of House’s team doing their crazy things for their crazy cases. They’re like a freaking circus sideshow in there! I also appreciated the reminder that Wilson is a doctor in his own right and is off running meetings and stuff rather than just sitting in his office waiting for House to barge in.

I didn’t care for the Cuddy apartment stuff either. Why do we need to turn Wilson into another House? They’re good together because they complement each other. If they’re both the same, then one of them is unnecessary — and it ain’t gonna be Hugh Laurie.

Bones 5×09 — “The Gamer in the Grease”: This episode wasn’t so bad. The mystery was kind of interesting, and though I was wrong about the killer, I was at least in the ballpark. I figured the autistic kid had something to do with it. I thought the kid himself freaked out and killed the postman for interfering with his game or something. Turns out it was the father… close, but no cigar.

What was with the heavy Avatar promotion? Is that a Fox movie or something? I didn’t know there was going to be such a blatant tie-in. Anyway, I thought it was funny that the guys took turns camping out in line, but could have done without the random chick coming onto Sweets and then Fisher. That was kinda dumb.

The ending felt like the X-Files, specifically like the end of “The Unnatural”, where Mulder and Scully had batting practice together. I loved that Bones and Booth tried playing that video game together, and loved that Booth was smack-talking her the whole time. Very cute, and not too heavy-handed at all.
