Desperate Housewives 6×10 — “Boom Crunch”: I guess this is supposed the be the mid-season cliffhanger, huh? Yep, I just checked and there won’t be any new eps until January 3. The ep wasn’t all that bad, but I’m kind of getting tired of the way this show simply kills off characters that have worn out their welcome. Blackmailing nurse? Dead. Orson or Karl? Well, one of them is bound to be dead. Can’t any of these people just move away and go on with their lives? And doesn’t anyone think it’s strange that so many folks end up dying on Wisteria Lane? For someplace that’s supposed to be a tony suburb, the death rate is quite high!
I enjoyed the catfight between Lynette and Gaby during the caroling. Of course Gaby is going to take her husband’s side no matter what, and of course Lynette is going to think that she’s the one who’s right. Oh, well, I guess Gaby and Carlos won’t be getting any baby shower invitations this time around. Actually, that reminds me: Lynette took a pretty hard dive to move the Solis girl out of the way of the plane. Will the twins survive that?
The Katherine storyline went too far this time. Are we really supposed to buy that she’s crazy enough to tell her daughter that she and Mike are actually married? I could believe some of the jealous actions, but come on, this is way out there. That whole thing needs to be put to rest.
The Bolens… we got a bit more of their backstory, but no details. So they were terrorists? What kind?? What did they do? That was a bit unexpected. Let’s just hope the story actually makes sense after the full reveal.
