Breaking Bad has been a favorite of critics ever since it first hit the airwaves. The hype surrounding the show was so persistent that I just had to check things out for myself. I watched two episodes and thought it was OK, but never bothered making it a part of my regular schedule. That might have been because I had to find online streams of the show, which were not always top quality, if you know what I mean.
The show still gets rave reviews, and the two lead actors routinely clean up at awards shows, so I’m thinking of giving Breaking Bad another try — this time on DVD. The Breaking Bad Season 1 DVDs are on sale for just $15.99, which is a good price. Buying the DVDs will give me a chance to see all the Season 1 episodes in order and in high-quality on my television instead of on my little computer monitor, so that should
enhance the viewing experience. Plus, there are some bonus features that will get me acquainted with the cast, crew, and other VIPs.
Anyway, I rarely give shows a second chance to make a good impression, but the sustained critical praise and awards that are still coming in after three seasons makes me think Breaking Bad could be worth it. Hope I’m right!
