Cougar Town 2×11 — “No Reason to Cry”: This was an OK episode. Unlike most people, I don’t mind product placement, even when done as blatantly as Cougar Town did with making Bobby wear a Diet Dr. Pepper cap and shirt for most of the ep. They actually made it sound like something Bobby would do in the hopes of drawing attention (and possible sponsorship) from DDP execs. And I loved how they made it so his “white noise” was the sound of Diet Dr. Pepper being poured into a glass… perfect!
Ugh, more Travis and his boring girlfriend. What is up with those two? Why are they always around??? I thought Travis was looking forward to going away to school and escaping the craziness that is Jules. At the rate he’s going, he should just enroll in an online university and move back home. At least with an online university they’d save money on room, board, and tuition, and he could hang around his mom and her friends to his heart’s content without it seeming so darn weird.
I loved Andy’s joke about deliberately telling Ellie the wrong names when she meets people. I so want to try that sometime!
