Entourage 8×01 — “Home Sweet Home”: This episode was kind of a letdown for me. I thought the S7 finale was great, but this premiere fell flat. Then again, I think that’s usually the case with Entourage premieres. It just takes the writers so long to get all the characters back into the swing of things. This time, though, they can’t afford to move at such a leisurely pace since there are only 7 episodes left in the entire series.
As I watched, I began wondering which of the characters I was invested in most. Vince is a waste, E is a total douche, Drama is too flaky and insecure to be taken seriously, and Turtle is just there. Hmm, I guess that leaves Ari. I felt bad for him when he learned that Mrs. Ari was seeing someone else. I’m telling you, she’s the only thing in his life keeping him semi-human. If he loses her, I have no idea where that character will go.
