Entourage 8×08 — “The End”: WTF was that???? This entire season was pretty much craptastic, but the finale somehow managed to be even worse. Vince and Sophia are getting married after knowing each other for a whole 24 hours? After she swore up and down that she would never date him due to the way he treats women? After getting that ridiculous “testimonial” DVD from all his exes? Good lord.
And the E thing was so predictable. Of course Sloan would take him back. He’s got so much going for himself, after all. Glad their second chance is starting with a big, fat lie about Melinda Clarke. Obviously that would/should be a dealbreaker, so no wonder all of E’s friends lied to her about it. Now, I wonder if E himself will come clean at some point. Doubtful.
Ari and Melissa ended up together, which was what I wanted at the beginning of the season (but not after Dana Gordon reentered the picture). Too bad she is now completely unlikable and has turned Ari into something he’s not (an early retiree). I guess that phone call at the end sets up a movie, but at this point, who even cares?
Goodbye, Entourage. And good riddance!
