Burn Notice 6×03 — “Last Rites”: I actually thought this episode was pretty good. It was nice to see the show revert back to a client-of-the-week formula — even if the client happened to be Pearce. It was cool to see both Maddie and Nate involved in the op (and Pearce out in the field, for that matter), but I did miss Fiona being with the gang.
Speaking of Fiona, the prison subplot didn’t grate this week. Sure, it’s stupid that she’s going to be spending, what 25-50% of the season (just a guess; I don’t read spoilers or anything) in jail away from the crew, but if the plots are at least interesting, then that goes a long way towards making things better.
Despite my best efforts to stay away from rumors and spoilers, I keep hearing that a semi-regular cast member is going to bite it soon. God, it better not be Maddie!!! I love her!! There’s no way the writers would touch the Core Four either, so I guess that leaves Pearce or Nate??? We’ll see what happens with that one.

One of the 20th century’s most famous and influential women, Thatcher came from nowhere to smash through barriers of gender and class to be heard in a male dominated world.

As usual, I’m looking for something new to watch over the summer while my regular shows are on hiatus. This time around, I think I’ll give Friday Night Lights (Season 2 a chance). I recently completed the first season and thought it was fantastic, so I’m hoping for the same from Season 2.
