Since I work from home a lot, I am often disturbed by all the noises and distractions commonly heard during normal business hours: lawn mowers, traffic, delivery drivers, etc. These sounds can really interfere with my productivity, so I purchased noise cancelling headphones a while ago. Unfortunately, I went with a cheap brand that just isn’t doing what I expected them to do.
Now I’m thinking of going with the Bose QuietComfort model. These headphones received the best reviews, all of which I read when I was initially doing my shopping. Back then I was turned off by the price tag, but now I’m willing to pay more for a product that works.
I’ve found a great pair of bose headphones at Musician’s Friend.com and plan to buy them as soon as I can save up enough money. I just wish I’d come to this decision at the beginning of summer vacation instead of at the end. The neighborhood kids (and my own) have been driving me crazy for the past couple of months, so I really need some peace and quiet.
