Hmm, I just noticed that my About page has been missing for who knows how long now! Anyway, it’s time for an update, so here goes.
I like to read books and watch movies and TV shows. I consume such copious amounts of these media every day that I thought it might be fun to start a review blog. If nothing else, it gives me an excuse for “wasting” so much time in front of the tube!
I’m not all that picky when it comes to movies, books, or TV. I’m not high-brow or artsy-fartsy or anything like that. What makes a film or book good to me is how entertaining it is, so my star ratings are based on how likely I’d be to sit through the movie again or recommend the book to friends.
This ain’t science, folks, so don’t waste your breath arguing with me! If you have a different opinion, you’re free to leave a comment on any post. Just be reasonably civil and give reasons for feeling the way you do. I always try to give reasons in my reviews, so you’ll hardly ever see me say “This movie sucked!” without telling you why. I hope you’ll extend me the same courtesy.
