I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, but I still worry about my family’s safety. You just never know when something bad is going to happen, which is why I really want to get a home security system.
I’ve been looking at a few different ADT products because my brother works for the company as an installer. He recommends one of the newer systems that come with the SafePass touchpad that allows you to wave a tag in front of the control pad in order to arm or disarm the system. This means there are no codes to memorize, which makes it easier for everyone — including children — to operate the alarm. What a great idea!
With a six-year-old in the house, I want the peace of mind that will come with having an ADT security system in place. Getting one installed is a priority for my family in this new year!
I’ve been a film buff for a long time now, and one of the questions I’m most frequently asked is whether or not I collect movie memorabilia. You know, framed prints, photos,
As I was cleaning out the bathroom yesterday, I was struck by how many Johnson & Johnson products I have in there. I usually just associate the JNJ name and logo with shampoo and baby powder, but they actually offer an unbelievable array of
In my quest to be a bit more active during the day, I try to take a brisk 30-minute walk outdoors each morning before I settle down to work. This gives me an opportunity to work up an appetite for breakfast, think about all the tasks I have to do for the day, and just relax while listening to an audiobook on my MP3 player. I’ve recently been struggling with my 5-year-old son, trying to get him to spend more time reading books. Well, I take that back since he doesn’t actually read much yet. However, I am trying to get him to at least sit down on his own with a few of his books and just look at the pictures or something. It’s a real struggle, though.
I currently use an iPod Nano (first generation) that is filled to capacity with music and audio books, so I’m in dire need of a new MP3 player. At first, I thought I might go with a device that had more storage space, but those 60 and 80 GB models are too bulky for my tastes. As a result, I’ve decided just to buy another compact MP3 player and have two devices at my disposal instead of one.

As a freelance writer and blogger, I spend about 10-12 hours online every single day. My frequent Internet searches often take me to new websites that I’ve never been to before, and I also download numerous documents and files. In other words, I’m just the kind of person who could pick up malicious spyware, worms, or viruses if I’m not careful!
